Sample Lesson Plan #1
Reflection on Lesson Plan #1:
Overall, I thought that this lesson went really well. The students really enjoyed the fairy-tale and were engaged while reading it. The next time that I preform this lesson I will make sure that I am more adamant about stopping while the students are reading so that they have enough time to annotate text. I found that some students were having a hard time keeping up with the close reading strategies because their peers were reading too fast.

Sample Lesson Plan #2
Reflection on Lesson Plan #2:
What I liked about this lesson was that it is a great way to start off a unit with students I had not grown to know very well yet, because it was only my first week. This activity got students in the mind set of the book, while also giving me an opportunity to get to know them better. The next time I do this lesson, I will be sure to incorporate more time into the end of the class so that more students can share. I may also consider creating my own template to break the ice with students and so that they are getting to know me as well as me getting to know them.
